Welcome to Divine Purpose Outreach Ministry—a church where you can discover purpose, experience love, and grow in Christ.
We are a community committed to helping people develop a closer relationship with God, find encouragement, and serve others with compassion.
Divine Purpose Outreach Ministry was founded by Pastor Timothy Sutton after ten years of pastoral ministry at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Anderson, South Carolina.
The ministry began through a series of meetings at The Dream Center, where Pastor Sutton led an eight-week Bible study and began building a community centered on faith, fellowship, and service.
Our first worship service was held on June 7, 2015, at West End Hall in Easley, South Carolina, with 75 people in attendance. In December 2015, the ministry moved to its current location at 103 West C Avenue.
Since then, God has continued to bless Divine Purpose Outreach Ministry as we grow in faith, fellowship, and service. In 2022, Divine Purpose Outreach Ministry became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit church.
Our mission is to help people grow closer to the Lord, experience the love of Christ, and become God’s hands and feet through service.
We strive to encourage those who are hurting, strengthen families, and create a welcoming place where everyone can seek God and discover their purpose.
Divine Purpose Outreach Ministry partners with community outreach programs to help meet the needs of individuals and families in Easley and surrounding communities.
Through ministry, prayer, outreach, and service, we are committed to showing the love of God in practical ways.
We invite you to worship with us and experience the love of our church family.
